Hungarian artist, Nora Soos has made her name through her multi-layered, life-mirroring, vibrant paintings. Soós’s works are unmistakable. Brightly colored figures and forms occupy the image area in humorously playful interaction, enabling stories to be told without end. She gets her inspiration from the everyday life. Her language is, however, unambiguously at home in the pop and media culture. The complex overpainting between trans-lucid objects and affords the works their gripping vividness.
